All Image Club DigitArt¬ clip art is saved as Adobe Illustrator¿ 1.1 format Encapsulated PostScript¿ (EPS). It can be placed into any Macintosh application that accepts EPS graphics files. DigitArt can also be edited or modified in PostScript drawing programs including Adobe Illustrator. Using DigitArt with these programs is described in greater detail later on in this document.
Using DigitArt¬ with Your Applications

Adobe PageMaker¿
To use DigitArt clip art in a PageMaker document, choose ╥Place╔╙ from the ╥Edit╙ menu. In the file dialog box select the decompressed clip art file you wish to use. Click the ╥Open╙ button. Click somewhere on the PageMaker document to place the clip art file. The clip art file may now be scaled, cropped or repositioned.
Adobe Illustrator¿
To use DigitArt clip art in Adobe Illustrator, first launch the Illustrator application. Choose ╥Open╔╙ from the ╥File╙ menu. In the file dialog box select the decompressed clip art file you wish to use. Click the ╥Open╙ button. The clip art file will open up as a new document. You may now edit, color, scale or modify the clip art file. Please note that even though all DigitArt clip art is saved as Adobe Illustrator format, you cannot double click on a clip art file to open it. The Illustrator 1.1 format that DigitArt clip art is saved in does not allow opening by double clicking, unless you have Adobe Illustrator version 1.1 on your hard drive. If you are using any other version of Adobe Illustrator, you must follow the previous instructions for opening the clip art files.
